"Above Club" the third album from We Are The City, is the band's first venture into complete self-production and self-direction. From an undisclosed location for 25 days, We Are The City live streamed in entirety the writing and recording process on their site.

The stream was a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week window that let the viewer in on the creative process and concepts behind "Above Club". At times, the window was a candid look into the lifestyle, relationships and staggering hours required to make an album. At other times, the stream showcased absurd, hard-to-believe sequences that seemed to resemble performance art more than reality and brought into question the legitimacy of the entire broadcast.

The album was completed at the end of October 2015 and the band announced that the release day would follow, two weeks after, on November 13th.
